CREDIT CHECKING
We will consult credit and fraud agencies regarding you and others
financially linked with you including members of your household to
help make decisions about you and them for:

validating claims

Fraud prevention, debtor tracing, debt recovery, and to check your
identity to prevent money laundering.
Should you apply for a credit product, we may use a credit scoring
system and may search your records, including fraud prevention
databases at credit reference agencies to check your identity in
order to prevent money laundering and help decide whether to grant
you credit. We may make additional credit reference searches at any
time whilst you are a customer.
We will monitor and record information relating to your credit
performance and such records may be shared with credit reference
agencies in order to assess future applications for credit by you [or
other members of your household] or for fraud prevention. Should the
application for credit be in joint names, a financial link will be
created between you and the joint applicant.
Any searches will be recorded by the credit reference agencies and
will be seen by other organisations making later searches. Any
information you disclose that is false or inaccurate will also be
recorded by the credit reference agency.
The performance of the account will be reported to the credit
reference agency. Should you fail to make payments as stated in the
credit agreement this will be reported to the credit reference agency
within 28 days of the due date.
Credit scoring is an automated decision. If we reject your
application solely on the basis of a credit scoring system, you have
a right to request us to reconsider your application.
We will check information that you have provided to us with fraud
prevention agencies and if you disclose false or inaccurate
information and we suspect fraud, this will be reported to the fraud
prevention agencies.
We will tell you which credit reference and fraud prevention agencies
that we use so that you can get a copy of the information held
against you at these agencies directly from them. A fee may be
payable for this.
IN THE FUTURE
Going forward, this site will be used to offer lending and credit
products. In addition to the above uses of your data your data will

total relationship with them and to assist in processing any future

As detailed above, if you apply for an insurance product, your
details will be passed to insurance providers. Your information may
also be used to perform credit checks and therefore may be passed to
credit and fraud agencies.
We may pass information about you to independent debt recovery
agencies or service providers, solicitors or other agents for the
purpose of collecting monies due or outstanding on your account.
In certain circumstances we may be required to provide your
information to other third parties. Such circumstances may occur
