Secure Trust Bank Group has received two endorsements recognising the efforts made to ensure the organisation is as inclusive as possible. The Group is celebrating the accolades during National Inclusion Week, run by Inclusive Employers.
Already an official UK Best Workplace as awarded by Great Place to Work in 2021, STBG has now also been ranked 13 in a list of 38 organisations as a UK Best Workplaces for Women.
Furthermore, the Employers Network for Diversity and Inclusion (ENEI) has also awarded the Group the Silver Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) Mark. The award follows a comprehensive assessment or several areas, like workforce, leadership and training, which gave STBG a TIDE score of 74%.
This is the third consecutive year that STBG has been awarded both a UK Best Workplaces for Women award and a ENEI TIDE Mark, proving that employees feel a strong sense of trust, fairness and wellbeing in their workplace.
Anne McKenning, HR Director for STBG, said:
"We're delighted to be recognised by ENEI and Great Place to Work for the progress we have made on diversity and inclusion over the last year. At STBG we are committed to creating a culture where everyone has the same opportunities and feels able to be themselves. We have a strong D&I vision and agenda across all areas of the business which is led by our D&I steering group and we understand that a drive for continuous improvement is in the best interest of the organisation, employees and stakeholders."
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, explains:
"We're delighted to recognise so many great organisations in this fourth year of the UK's Best Workplaces™ for Women list. The issues affecting women in the workplace, particularly what we've witnessed in the face of the pandemic including parity of pay and advancement opportunities, continue to be important topics. We are proud that, thanks to this ranking and the insights afforded by our successful organisations, we can help raise awareness of the importance of fairness around pay, recognition, training and development opportunities, and work-life balance. What our 2021 UK's Best Workplaces™ for Women clearly show is the positive impact their practices have on business. As a result, they are better able to attract and retain women of talent, encouraging them to develop professionally and personally, and in turn, contribute exponentially to the success of the organisations they work for."
