Secure Trust Bank's Savings accounts get Five-Star Rating

Moneyfacts 5 star service rating for Personal Savings - Easy to Open 2026

Secure Trust Bank has been given a five-star, consumer rating for their Personal Savings Accounts. The Moneyfacts Annual Star Rating was awarded in the Easy to Open category, reflecting the customer friendly nature of the STB application process. The award's organisers have been analysing consumer feedback and data for over 35 years and use several key metrics to judge their awards including:

Consumer Feedback - Customers who used the Moneyfactscompare.co.uk website were asked for their honest feedback after opening savings accounts.

STB Feedback - Secure Trust provided information and data about the steps and completion requirements needed to open a new Savings account.

Expert Analysis - Moneyfacts experts assessed the process via Secure Trust's website.

For the 2026 awards only 45 providers in total were accredited with a five star award for the ease, speed and simplicity of their application process.

Samantha Owens, Star Ratings and Personal Finance Analytics Manager at Moneyfacts, said:

"With rates and offers launching and leaving the market at speed, being able to access and open an account easily is a definite plus for consumers.

"Easy to Open ratings highlight those providers which make accessing these deals as easy as possible.

"The ratings look at the process from application through to having access to the complete product, with analysis of consumer feedback allowing us to see what is most important to the consumer".
