Secure Trust Bank Group has been awarded a prestigious diversity and inclusion award.
The TIDE Silver Standard mark is distributed by the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) in recognition of the progress being made in the business with regards to ED&I.
TIDE stands for Talent, Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation and measures an organisation's approach and progress on diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the following areas:
- Diversity Data Monitoring
- Strategy and Planning
- DEI Training
- Inclusive Leadership
- Inclusive Recruitment
- Talent Management and Development
- Working Practices
- Employee Voice and Engagement
- Values and Behaviours
- Wellbeing and Belonging
STBG went through a self-assessment, evaluation, and benchmarking process, designed to measure how well an organisation is cultivating a positive and inclusive culture using the above categories.
In total, 188 organisations participated in the awards process from across 15 different industry sectors. STBG's overall score was 78%. This compares to an average score of 72% in other Financial Services submissions and an average score of just 66% across all submissions.
In particular ENEI singled out STBG's performance in Wellbeing & Belonging - 96%, Talent Management & Development - 93% and Inclusive Leadership - 87% as areas of high performance.
