Life at STBG

Life at STBG

As a Great Place to Work, Secure Trust Bank Group is committed to ensuring employees have a positive and supportive working environment.

Wise Working

Our WorkWise Policy allows colleagues the flexibility to take a ‘best of both’ approach to working life that enables them to deliver, perform and contribute to the success of the Group, whilst supporting work life balance and employee wellbeing.

As part of our WorkWise policy we offer:

Hybrid working

A fluid combination of in-office and remote working that meet the needs of the business, our customers, our teams and individuals. This is agreed with your line manager on an informal and variable basis to meet  the changing needs of the business and colleagues.

Flexible working

A formal regular working arrangement that may include part time or compressed hours, regular working pattern for shift based roles, job share or formalised home working. You can request flexible working arrangements at any time, if your needs differ from the standard working pattern we’ll consider your needs and the needs of your role, and try and find something that works for everyone.

Full-time office working

If Hybrid working isn’t for you and you want to work in the office all the time that’s fine! We have a modern light, open plan offices in Solihull, Cardiff, London, Manchester and Reading with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Being me at STBG

STB Group is a successful inclusive business where all our people feel respected, can confidently be themselves and fulfil their potential.

Everyday Allyship – Standing for our Colleagues

Everyday Advocacy and Allyship is important because if everyone advocates on behalf of one another we can create an environment where everyone can thrive and flourish.

We support, enable and encourage people to be their whole selves, and when inappropriate and non-inclusive behaviours arise, we can call them out and stand as an ally.

Inclusioneers

To support our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, colleagues around the Group have volunteered to become Inclusioneers, a network of individuals who work together to champion and progress our ED&I strategy.
