How do I register for Internet Banking?

Registering is easy and only takes a few minutes.

You will need your:

• Unique Internet Banking membership ID (You can find this in an email or letter from us. It starts with 'IB' followed by 8 numbers)
• Temporary password (This is in the same email as your Internet Banking membership ID, which we sent to the email address you supplied for your account)
• Email address
• Date of birth
• Phone number (For added security, you will receive a one-time code on your mobile or home phone number)

When you have all of the above, select the 'Internet Banking' button  on the main menu.

How to register:

1. Enter your Internet Banking membership ID.
2. Enter your temporary password, date of birth and the email address we have on file.
3. Choose the phone number where you want to receive your one-time authentication security code and select Continue. We will send  the code - this usually takes a minute or two.
4. Enter your security code and select Continue.
5. Create a 6-digit PIN number - do not use your date of birth. You will need this each time you log in.
6. Create a Password. You will need this each time you log in.

Passwords must:

• Be at least eight characters long
• Include at least one uppercase letter
• Include at least one lowercase letter
• Include at least one number

Passwords cannot:

• Contain punctuation or special characters (like . , ! $ %)
• Contain spaces
• Include more than four identical characters in a row (like bbbbb or 22222)
